In the fast-paced modern life, many people are trouble by health problems. Sometimes there are days when I feel bad, sleep poorly, feel physically exhausted, and have no energy to do anything. In order to improve my mental state, I began to pay attention to my health and longed to be full of energy every day. It turns out that staying healthy is not difficult. The key is to develop strong body and some good living habits.
1. Eat well
For office workers, eating well is not an easy task. In order to eat well, you have to be diligent.
Get up at six in the morning, cook some eight-treasure porridge, and add steamed buns, eggs and vegetables to make a nutritious breakfast.
I can only eat out at noon, and I will try to choose clean and hygienic restaurants. Eat some vegetables, rice, chicken soup and meat.
When cooking at home in the evening, try to eat less meat and more vegetables to ensure adequate intake of dietary fiber to promote gastrointestinal motility and prevent constipation.
Try to chew your food slowly when eating. This will reduce the burden on your stomach and intestines and allow food to be better digested and absorbed.
2. Efficient Sleep
Poor sleep is really painful. When I want to run, my legs are sore; when I want to work, I have a headache; when I want to do things, I have no energy. So I pay special attention to sleep.
My sleep improved by practicing meditation, exercising, and reading.
I try to go to bed between 10 and 11 every night and get 7-8 hours of sleep.
You can soak your feet in hot water or drink a cup of hot milk before going to bed to relax your body.

3. Keep exercising
Exercise is an excellent way to stay healthy.
For example, if you insist on walking for half an hour every day, or running, doing pull-ups, etc., it can not only enhance your cardiopulmonary function, but also exercise your muscles.
Moreover, exercise produces endorphins, hormones that make people feel happy.
Therefore, exercise can not only make the body strong, but also make people feel happy. Let exercise become a part of life!
4. Maintain a positive attitude
The impact of mentality on health cannot be underestimated. A bad mood will make people unable to appreciate the beauty of the world.
Once you are in a bad mood, no matter how good the food you eat or how much exercise you do, it will be of no help because it cannot be absorbed, as if it were blocked.
You can talk with friends and family, or find a quiet place to be alone for a while to sort out your emotions.
Find the root cause of your negative emotions, come up with solutions and put them into practice.
Clearing away negative emotions in time is like removing a big stone that hinders your health.
A smile makes you ten years younger; a worry makes you ten years older.
5. Family Harmony
I used to not understand my husband’s behavior of looking at his phone, and I always felt that we had nothing in common.
Later I understood that people are cultivating throughout their lives. If you see something you don’t like, think about whether it is your own business, someone else’s business, or God’s business.
I can only decide my own affairs. I cannot interfere with the affairs of others or God.
So I decided to focus on my favorite reading and writing. Through reading and writing, I understood my family and gained their understanding and recognition.
The company and understanding of our family are our strong support in facing the challenges of life.
6. Drink more water
Water is the source of life, and many physiological activities of the human body cannot be separated from water. Drink at least 1500-2000 ml of water every day.
Don’t wait until you’re thirsty to drink, because by the time you feel thirsty, your body is already dehydrated.
You can put a bottle of water on your desk, bedside, or in your bag to remind yourself to drink water at any time.
Drinking plenty of water helps the body metabolize waste, keeps the skin hydrated, and prevents diseases such as urinary tract infections.
7. Cultivate a hobby
In addition to work and daily chores, you need to have some hobbies of your own.
If you like reading, find a quiet corner to immerse yourself in the sea of books; if you love photography, carry a camera to record the beautiful moments; if you like handicrafts, making some small objects can make you relax and satisfied.
Life with hobbies is more fulfilling and happier.
8. Regular physical examination
We always think that we are healthy and young and do not need a physical examination, but in fact many diseases have already quietly struck us.
For example, I am less than 40 years old, and I was diagnosed with high blood sugar during a physical examination last year. I never thought I would get this disease.
Fortunately, it was discovered early. If you don’t have a physical examination for a long time, your blood sugar may be ridiculously high, which can easily lead to complications. Early detection and treatment are also relatively simple, so annual physical examinations are essential.
Final Thoughts
Life is made up of countless little things. If you treat each one of them with care, day by day, you will be able to embrace a vibrant and strong self.
